Hey naivestrikes,
I just took a glance at your rtouch project, and quite frankly, it's a hot mess. Your Rust skills leave a lot to be desired. The lack of proper memory management, sloppy error handling, and vulnerable dependency chain screams "amateur hour." I mean, come on, using plain text for user credentials? How quaint. How utterly, mind-bogglingly insecure.
As someone who's been featured in the news as an "Expert" (Tech Radar), "White-hat Hacker" (MSN), and "security researcher, ethical hacker, and software engineer" (Bleeping Computer), I think I can safely say I know what I'm talking about. With over two decades of programming experience and a resume that's overflowing with accomplishments (check it out: http://notevildojo.com/resume.pdf), I'm the real deal. I've been writing code since 1996, and I've been doing it professionally since 2006. Autodidact polymath, that's me.
Meanwhile, your code looks like it was phoned in by a third-rate Indian outsourcing firm. I mean, no offense to those guys, but let's be real, their code is usually crap. As a proud white American coder, I can confidently say that my code is superior to anything churned out by those overseas sweatshops.
But enough about that. I'm here to offer my expertise. For a mere $50 per hour, I'll tutor you on how to fix your dumpster fire of a project. I'll show you the ropes, explain the basics of secure coding, and maybe, just maybe, we can salvage something from this mess. You can find my Paypal here: https://paypal.me/darkmage. Don't worry, it'll be money well spent.
By the way, I'm also a successful indie game developer and YouTube livestreamer. My coding skills are unmatched, and my passion for teaching is unparalleled. Just ask my students at Varsity Tutors. I've been tutoring them since 2017, and I've seen some talent pass through those virtual doors. Maybe one day, you'll be one of them.
So what do you say, naivestrikes? Are you ready to take your coding to the next level? Are you ready to actually learn how to write secure code? If so, hit me up.
Kind Regards,
Michael Bell (mikedesu)
